Pickering Walking Festival, 16th - 18th April 2010

Pickering will be hosting it's first walking festival in April 2010. The Walking Festival will take place on Friday 16th April 2010 with a night walk at 20:00, Saturday 17th April 2010 and Sunday 18th April 2010.

The night walk on the Friday starts at 8pm and will finish before the pubs close!
There will be a variety of walks on offer on Saturday and on Saturday evening there will an Irish folk music evening at Pickering Memorial Hall. On Sunday there will also be a variety of themed walks to enjoy.

There will be a small charge for all the walks, and some of them include transport costs. A charge will be made for the Irish folk music event.

Pickering is just a 30 minute drive from Old Byland and the Valley View Farm Cottages which is an ideal location for walking, so why not combine the Pickering Walking Festival with a break at Valley View Farm Cottages.
