Why not get away from it all with the family this February half term week and explore the great outdoors.
Here in the heart of the North York Moors there is plenty to see and do in the great outdoors.
Our holiday cottages are located on our family farm where you will see sheep dotted about the countryside as well as in the barns awaiting lambing and our herd of cattle.
There are plenty of walks from the farm where you will see lots of wildlife and nature up close.
Visit Sutton Bank for dramatic views and Rievaulx Abbey or Byland Abbey for historic ruins.
Why not take to the air and do a spot of gliding from Sutton Bank, or other outdoor activities in this area include pony trekking, horse-riding, cycling, fishing and quad bike trails.
Helmsley treasure hunt is a great fun and entertaining way of getting the whole family out and about in the fresh air doing something a bit different for a couple of hours when you come and stay at one of our Valley View Farm Cottages.
