Mid Week Clean - For those of you staying a week you can now treat yourself to a mid-week clean. This costs £15 for a 1-bedroom cottage, £20 for a 2-bedroom cottage, £30 for a 3-bedroom cottage and can be booked when you book your holiday online.
Dog Sitting Facility - Pets are all made welcome at Valley View Farm (One family who have been visiting for years have told me on many occasions that their pet dog has been named "Sally" after me, I do hope this is a compliment!) and there is the option of a kennel for your dog/s for days when you may want to enjoy a day out. We have also started to offer a dog sitting facility which you can find out more about by calling 01439 798221.
Continental Breakfast - Why not treat yourself to a day off from breakfast making by ordering a continental breakfast from us.
The continental breakfast menu consists of:
Ampleforth apple juice.
Locally made muesli - Yockenthwaite Farm Granola and Muesli from Suma at Elland.
Croissants from the baker in Helmsley.
Wensleydale Creamery butter.
Yorkshire honey.
Lime and lemon marmalade Rosebud Preserves (Elsbeth Biltoft at Healey).
Yorkshire Tea – or coffee.
Hampers In Cottage - We are able to arrange for you to have a Hunters of Helmsley hamper in your cottage, if you would like to arrive to a hamper full of goodies. Hunters of Helmsley specialise in creating hampers packed with Yorkshire fare. There is a wide selection of hampers ranging in prices from £25 to £175. For special occasions why not choose the 'After Dinner Box Hamper' or treat yourself with the 'Champagne and Chocolates Hamper'. If you have ordered a hamper directly with Hunters, then they will arrange delivery of your hamper with an additional delivery charge of £5, please make them aware that you are staying with us as this charge is reduced for our guests.
