Tour of Britain Cycle Race in York Saturday 12th September 2009

York will be hosting one of the country's biggest cycling events of the year as the end of Stage 1 of the Tour of Britain Cycle Race 2009 is completed in York. The first stage of the race begins in Scunthorpe at 10am on Saturday 12th September 2009 and after following a 107 mile route the cyclists finish the first stage of the race at Heworth Stray, Malton Road from 2pm.
