I am lucky living in North Yorkshire as it has some lovely places for a spot of shopping, whether you're on holiday or not (in my case!).
With a wealth of market towns with interesting shops and market stalls there's always something to meet your shopping needs, whatever your shopping preference!
Why not browse around the shops and stalls in Helmsley which is the nearest town to Valley View Farm, or take a trip to York and meander down the Shambles, or make a day of it at Castle Howard and spend time in the lovely courtyard with the craft workshops and farmshop to offer interesting local fayre.
