Whitby Abbey is an English Heritage site and "possibly the most famous Abbey ruin in theworld." There are some great English Heritage events planned there this year and from February to October, people and events inspired by the Abbey will come to life, from
the famous poet Caedmon to renowned gothic novelist, Bram Stoker. There will be a Victorian spectacular for October half term (29 – 31 October), so don't miss it.
Throughout the Summer, visitors can meet the Time Travellers, a crew of historical experts exploring England’s greatest myths and legends, from King Arthur to St. George!
