Nunnington Hall - Come and join in the Easter weekend fun with a special trail for families. Trails cost £2.00 and participants get a free Cadbury egg and nature quiz to take away. Easter Activities at Castle Howard - Over the Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 10th until Monday 13th April, families can enjoy lots of free activities. There will be an old-fashioned children’s fun fair, face painting, the Easter bunny handing out chocolate eggs and a free giant Easter egg hunt in the Walled Garden. Family tickets are available and these start at £23.00 (2 adults + 2 children), which effectively allows one child (4 to 16 years) in free. Under 4's go free.
Easter Egg Hunt At Hazel Brow Farm Visitor Centre - Eggs of all shapes and sizes, hens, ducks and geese, will be available for sale ready to decorate for entry into an Easter Sunday competition. The farm will be open over the Easter holidays on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays including Good Friday and Easter Monday from 11.00am – 4.00pm. There will be quizzes, competitions, a nature trail challenge and on Easter Sunday there will be a decorated egg competition which will be judged at 3.00pm. Entry is only £1.00 and all profits will go to the 'Send a Cow' scheme where the farm hopes to be able to donate a few cockerels!
