From the 10th Febraury 2010 until the 6th September 2010, the National Railway Museum in York is showing an exhibition entitled, Once Upon a Tide – North Sea Ferry Tales.
This new exhibition, in partnership with the National Railway Museum in the Netherlands, will use the Museum’s rich poster collections to explore the past, present and future of the Harwich-Hook ferry route. Don’t miss the chance to walk onto the deck of a ‘roll-on roll-off ferry’ as you see the turntable as you have never experienced it before! Admission free.
Valley View Farm cottages are just an hours drive from York, so why not book a stay here in the North York Moors and then spend a day in York and make a visit to the National Railway Museum part of your day out in York.
If you would like to book a break at one of the Valley View Farm holiday cottages then you can book online by clicking on the link or alternatively book over the telephone on 01439 798221.
