There's plenty to see and do at York's National Railway Museum this February half term. From Saturday February 13, 2010 to Sunday February 21, 2010 there will be a fun packed week of activities where you and the family can explore the historical ‘Early Years’ of the railways and see the return of Stephenson’s famous locomotive Rocket (replica) to the Museum. Enjoy an exciting steam ride in South Yard, get hands on with creative activities and watch lively theatre performances, themed around Rocket in the Great Hall.
10:00 - 18:00 Free Admission, although a small charge applies for steam rides and funfair rides.
The Kids’ CafĂ© is open 10:00 - 16:00 in the Walker Suite, with a selection of hot dishes, sandwiches, healthy snacks and kids treats.
