Beck Isle Museum, Pickering are running a Centenary Pageant on August 1st.
The following will be taking place at, in or around the museum grounds;
- Medieval story telling along with chain mail, costume, tents and weaponry,
- a Knight Templar demonstrating his wares,
- Chain mail to try and lift,
- Castle building,
- doll dressing,
- kite making,
- Songs from the Wars,
- Cake stalls,
- Yorkshire Pudding tent,
- Scouting throught the years,
- Sydney Smith exhibition of original 1910 photographs,
- costume displays
- and much more!
