Holt Cottage is a North Yorkshire holiday cottage situated on a family farm in the beautiful picturesque village of Old Byland near Helmsley.This is a 3 bedroom cottage with sitting room, dining area and kitchen upstairs. Also upstairs is a twin room with en suite bathroom. Downstairs is a twin room with a bathroom containing a bath and shower and a double bedroom with a shower room.
This cottage can connect to Drey Cottage to make a 10-person family cottage if needed. Pets are welcome. We have kennels that guests can leave their dogs in, if needed.
Holt Cottage is comfortably furnished and has the added home comfort of an open fire. The cottage has a gas cooker, microwave, washer dryer, fridge-freezer, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, BBQ, and there is a hair dryer and TV in each bedroom. This is as well as the TV, freeview, video and DVD player in the sitting room. All guests have access to the main patio area, with garden furniture. Crockery and cutlery are provided. For those of you staying a week you can now treat yourself to a mid-week clean. This costs £30 and can be booked when you book your holiday online. Arrival time is 3pm and departure time is 10am. There will be a welcoming tea tray on arrival.
There are plenty of parking spaces. Bedding and (fluffy) towels are included in the price. Z-beds, stairgates, and a cot and high chair are available on request, as is synthetic bedding (z-beds are £25 extra). Electric and gas are included (there's no meter).
