Take a Steam Train Ride With Santa On NYMR

Here's a quick reminder about the Santa Specials on the North York Moors Railway on the run up to the festive season.

These special excursions are ideal for families with small children. You can choose from 4 shuttle
services each day, either departing from Pickering to Levisham and back, or from Grosmont to Goathland and back.

The fare of £12.50 per person includes a present from Santa for each child, and seasonal refreshments including mince pies, served in our marquees at Pickering or Grosmont stations. Just show your ticket at the marquee. Each excursion can take up to 90 minutes, to allow for each child to meet Santa in his grotto. The train may be stationery for part of the journey.
