Congratulations to the The Glass House Bistro and North Bay Railway, Scarborough on achieving ‘Investors in People' status.
The North Bay Railway line has been operating since 1931, running for around 3/4 of a mile from Peasholm Park to Scalby Mills stations, offering beautiful views of Scarborough's North Bay. Trains run daily until the end of October. Weather permitting.
The line is now operated by the North Bay Railway Company Ltd, and as well as a railway, there is plenty more now on offer:
- Newly built bistro - The Glass House.
- Shop.
- Historic Water Chute.
- Pedal boats
So why not visit the North Bay Railway? They are dog friendly and 100% wheelchair and pushchair friendly. You could even combine a visit with a stay at
Valley View Farm cottages, which are just over an hours drive from the railway.
