Holiday Cottages For Christmas Break 2009

We just wanted to let you know that we have 2 cottages currently available for the Christmas period. They are Form and Formicary, both cosy, warm, one bedroom properties, ideal for a romantic, quiet time away.

We can offer a 4 night stay commencing 22nd December at a price of £326, so why not get away from it all and make your Christmas break 2009 a little bit different with a stay at Form or Formicary Cottage in the heart of the North York Moors.

Form Cottage

Delightful ground floor cottage has a kingsize bedroom and separate bathroom. This cottage has the added benefit of a raised patio area facing onto the communal South facing patio.

The sitting / dining room is flooded with light from the large open aspect window which has fabulous views over the patio and onto the countryside beyond. The sitting area is comfortably furnished for relaxing in and fully equipped with TV, freeview, dvd, video and the open fireplace has a coal effect gas stove.

The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances - fridge, dishwasher, microwave, cooker and washer / dryer.

Modern suite with bath, shower, toilet and hand basin.

Formicary Cottage

This cosy cottage is single storey and has one double bedroom however, there is a zip and link sofa bed which can comfortably sleep a further 2 people as a double or 2 single beds in the sitting room. The cottage opens up onto the bright South facing communal patio area.

Good sized open plan living area incorporate sitting and dining area and opens up into the kitchen. The sitting area is comfortably furnished for relaxing in and fully equipped with TV, freeview, dvd, video and and the open fireplace has a coal effect fire.

The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances - large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, cooker and washer/dryer.

Two steps lead down to a corridor off which you will find:

Bedroom 1

Large twin bedded room with ensuite bathroom which has a bath with shower over as well as a hand basin and toilet.

Christmas services can be attended at the local Church or if you would like something a little more formal Ampleforth College is a short drive away where you will be able to listen to the beautiful and moving choir of the Benedictine Monks at the College.
