As we rapidly approach Half Term and thoughts turn to how to entertain the children, here is a quick reminder about one of the local events taking place at Helmsley Castle which is just a 10 minute drive from Valley View Farm at Old Byland.
English Heritage are holding a Medieval Legends Dressing Up & Knights Trail event at Helmsley Castle from Saturday 24th October til Sunday 1st November.
Bring the children along to Helmsley Castle for a fun day out. Whisk them back to Medieval times with the opportunity to delve into the castle's large dressing up boxes and take on the role of some of the most famous characters from medieval Legend such as King Arthur & Guinevere, Robin Hood & Marion and St George.
There's also the mini model medieval Knights to find around the castle grounds. Find them all and receive a fun sticker.
