• Helmsley Walled Garden is a five acre walled garden.
  
• The garden dates from 1758.
• The setting is beautiful and is set against the backdrop of Helmsley Castle in the grounds of Duncombe Park.
• The garden was originally built to supply the Duncombe estate with fruit, vegetables and cut flowers.
• The vegetables, herbs, seasonal fruits and a wide range of plants, including many rare species, are all for sale.
  
• Picnics can be enjoyed in the garden.
• The Helmsley Walled Garden is open daily between mid March and the end of October. They are closed at weekends during January, February and November.
• Admission costs for 2008 £4.00 adult, £3.00 concessions and children free.
• The garden is also home to the Vinehouse Cafe. The café is situated in the newly restored Victorian Vinery where you can sit beneath the vine arches or out on the terrace and enjoy a tasty selection of treats.
