For tea and an afternoon out, try the Walled Garden in Helmsley, homemade cakes and great hot chocolate, or take a ride over the moors and finish off with tea at the Moors Centre Danby and a walk. For an old fashioned hotel style tea try the Grange at Lastingham after paying a visit to the famously pretty village of Hutton le Hole (which also has a pet-friendly pub and a museum).
