Valley View Farm is situated in the North York Moors National Park and ideally placed for all activities. The City of York famous for the National Railway Museum, stately homes - Duncombe Park, Nunnington Hall and Castle Howard are all easily accessible. Visit the 'Mouseman of Kilburn' the furniture legend and why not have a drink or meal at the Forresters Arms Pub. Helmsley is five miles away and is the nearest local market town with all amenities and a great place to source locally produced food, you will also enjoy the pretty drive there. Locally you can enjoy fishing, scenic walks or just sit and enjoy the views as you relax at the cottages. Activities in the area include clay pigeon shooting at Felixkirk and gliding at the gliding club at Sutton Bank.
