Good Books To Read On A Break Away

One of our staff is in a book club and she can recommend a few good reads:

Chickens, Mules and Two Old Fools by Victoria Twead
The Red Tent by Anita Diamante
The Other Hand by Chris Cleve
Guernica by Dave Boling
The Island by Victoria Hislop
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Friends Like These by Danny Wallace
The Tent, The Bucket & Me by Emma Kennedy (Suggested by Peter via twitter)
The Hound Of The Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle (Suggested by Ioan via twitter)

Do you have any good books that you'd like to recommend, if so then please leave a comment as we'd like to hear about your book choices.

Many of our guest love to read by the fire in our cosy cottages during the Winter months or on the patio during the Summer with the scenic North york moors as a backdrop.

If you fancy getting away from it all with a good book or two then why not book a stay at one of the Valley View Farm Holiday Cottages.

I'd recommend "One of Your Own: The Life and Death of Myra Hindley" - ideal for those cold and lonely nights on the moors...
