Forthcoming events

At the moment we are getting ready for harvesting and hoping that this spell of lovely weather holds, here is a picture of my son Stuart with the engineer making sure the combine is in good order for our forthcoming busy time.

I have also had notification through today of an event that is passing through Old Byland on the evening of 12th - 13th of September, with an approximate time of 2400 hours - somehow I do not think I will be awake for this, however there may be some of you out there that are interested in cars from a past era.

The event is organised by the Yorkshire Revival Navigational Rally and to be eligible the cars taking part need to be in the 60' or 70's with engines no larger than 2000cc. To see the route and further information go to:http://www.ilkleymotorclub.org.uk/yrr/route.htm
