The sheep have been sheared and are looking nice and cool whilst enjoying this lovely summer weather, I know that wool does not get used much in the traditional sense of knitted jumpers anymore, however, it is good to hear of eco friendly insulation using sheep’s fleece and I would like to think that that is where some of our fleeces will end up.
I went to take a photograph of Stuart busy loading but when I go there they were still waiting for the lorry, so this is a picture of traffic congestion up the lane from here and you will be able to make out the packed fleeces on the various trailers awaiting their fate.If traffic congestion does not look as peaceful as this where you are then come and book in at Valley View Cottages to get away from it all.
