Beck Isle Museum, Pickering are running a Centenary Pageant on August 1st.

The following will be taking place at, in or around the museum grounds;

• Medieval story telling along with chain mail, costume, tents and weaponry,
  
• a Knight Templar demonstrating his wares,
  
• Chain mail to try and lift,
  
• Castle building,
  
• doll dressing,
  
• kite making,
  
• Songs from the Wars,
  
• Cake stalls,
  
• Yorkshire Pudding tent,
  
• Scouting throught the years,
  
• Sydney Smith exhibition of original 1910 photographs,
  
• costume displays
  
• and much more!
