English Lavender Festival, Yorkshire 2010

Do you enjoy gardening and growing herbs? If so then the English Lavender Festival on Saturday 10th - Sunday 11th July 2010 at Yorkshire Lavender is for you.

The English Lavender Festival will be a celebration of lavender and herbs.

You will learn about:

• cooking with lavender and herbs,
  
• the magic of lavender essential oil and
  
• lavender for health and beauty.

There will be talks from herbalists and aromatherapists.

Hundreds of different varieties of lavender and herbs together with perennials, annuals, grasses, alpines, wildflowers will be for sale with expert advice available.

In the gift shop you can buy a whole range of lavender gifts

• food,
  
• conserves,
  
• condiments,
• lavender ice cream,
  
• lavender honey beer.
  

You can also taste lavender food in the tearooms and restaurant.
