The white horse near Kilburn is a limestone hill figure that overlooks the village of Kilburn on the edge of the North york Moors. The horse is approximately 318 feet (97 metres) long by 220 ft (67 m) high and covers about 1.6 acres and is said to be the largest and most northerly in England.
The white horse was created in November 1857 by removing the topsoil and exposing the underlying limestone rock.

Walkers can enjoy a birds eye view of the white horse as they walk the Cleveland Way to Sutton Bank.
