Castle Howard is one of Yorkshire's finest historic houses.  Set within 1000 acres of beautiful country the Howardian Hills are marked as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Castle Howard offers much more than a visitor attraction, it's always worth a visit especially when they are holding one of their many special events.

Castle Howard is a 40 minute drive from Old Byland and so if you are joining us for a break away it is a day out not to be missed.
