English Heritage Events - April

There are several English Heritage sites to visit in North Yorkshire.  Here are some of the things going on throughout April.

Rievaulx Abbey, 7 - 9th April - Medieval Falconry.  Watch a spectacular bird of prey display and learn about their use during the medieval period.

Whitby Abbey, 6-9th April - Easter Family Fun Trail. Complete the trail to be awarded a special Easter prize.

York Cold War Bunker, 16th April - Free Guided Tour for Members See original artefacts and learn about the part the bunker played during the Cold War.

Helmsley Castle 23rd April - Archaeology Store Tour.  Free guided tour to view the archaeological collection.

Clifford Tower, York 21 - 22nd April - Dragon Family Fun Trail. Help St George find the dragons for a prize.

There are plenty of things to see and do in North Yorkshire but if you just want to have a break and relax then the cottages are a tranquil place to unwind with a good book, newspaper or a game with the family.
