Walk & Carol Singing Rievaulx Abbey 18th December 2011

I just wanted to let you know about the walk to Rievaulx Abbey and the Christmas Carol Singing that will take place at the Abbey on Sunday 18 December 2011.

This is an easy walk of 6 miles in total. Leaving Helmsley (Cleveland Way car park) at 12.00pm. Wrap up warm and bring your torch and your best singing voice for the annual trip to the carol concert at Rievaulx Abbey. Meet in Helmsley at midday for the 3 mile walk to Rievaulx, a fantastic carol concert in a great setting, and then the 3 mile walk back to Helmsley.

Rievaulx Abbey is only about 2.8 miles from Valley View Farm Cottages, so why not make Valley View Farm your base and then enjoy the festive carol singing in the wonderful setting of Rievaulx Abbey.
