York Festival of Science and Technology 11th March 2011

For all you science enthusiasts, I just wanted to let you know that from the 11th - 20th March is the York Festival of Science and Technology entitled Bringing Science to Life!

During the week, science will be coming out of the classroom and popping up in all sorts of unexpected places across York. There will be exhibitions, lectures, film screenings, live performances and a host of hands-on activities.

The Festival programme includes special workshops for schools, events focused on an adult audience, and a wide range of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Old Byland is just 30 miles from York, so why not make your base here at one of the Valley View Farm Cottages, in the beautiful North York Moors.
