English Heritage Events At Brodsworth Hall & Gardens 2011

Just wanted to let you know about some of the English Heritage events taking place at Brodsworth Hall & Gardens this year.

• Fairies and Dragons, Classic Cars and a summer of music await you at Brodsworth Hall and Gardens.
• Discover the secrets of the gardens during the late spring half term (Sat 28 May – Sun 5 Jun) and find out where the fairies and dragons hide away with fun family trails around the garden, storytelling, plus arts and crafts activities.
• Classic Cars take over the grounds of Brodsworth Hall & Gardens over the summer
• (Sun 19 Jun, Sun 3 Jul & Sun 28 Aug) a perfect way to spend a summer’s day recalling motoring memories from the past in awe of the grace, pace and horsepower on display.
• Brodsworth’s Gardens is a plant-lovers paradise. Whatever time of year you visit, there will always be something to catch your eye. Wonderfully restored to their original horticultural splendour explore the magnificent fern dell, stunning displays of roses and immaculate lawns.
  
• Children can let off steam in the play area or visit the hidden gem - pet cemetery and discover the whereabouts of Brodsworth’s most beloved pets.
• Enjoy lazy Sunday afternoons in the summer with Pimms and a picnic, to the sounds of local brass bands providing entertainment on the south terrace (Sun 10 Jul – Sun 21 Aug & Sun 4 Sep – Sun 11 Sep).
  
• During September the sound of Jazz fills the gardens a pleasurable way to end the summer season (Sun 18 & Sun 25 Sep).
