Yorkshire Lavender's Mint Weekend June 2010

So you love gardening and growing herbs? If so then why not head off to the Mint Weekend at Yorkshire Lavender.

The event will take place on Saturday 5th - Sunday 6th June 2010.

The Mint Weekend is designed to encourage people to grow their own, so come along and pick up some useful tips.

Learn about,

• the history of mint,
• the medicinal uses of mint and
• the culinary uses of mint.

Get expert advice and help about growing and using mint.

Lots of varieties of mint will be on sale in our specialist Plant Nursery.

Mint is a delicious-tasting herb that is used for a variety of dishes and drinks, you can even try some new and exciting 'mint' recipes in the Tea Room/Restaurant.
