Vintage Vehicle Weekend 10th-11th July 2010
For the weekend of the 10th - 11th of July there is an extra special treat for those who are fans of vintage cars and steam trains, there is a Vintage Vehicle Weekend, various Classic Car Owners Clubs will be attending to show off their pride and joy.
There are free tours from 11 to 4pm around Pickering by a Heritage Bus departing from Pickering Station to see Levisham, Goathland and Grosmont where the cars will be located and you will be able to view them, there is also the Real Ale Tent at Levisham and live music from 12 to 4pm. So a fun packed weekend to be had.

Gayle Mill, Hawes, Demonstration Day July 2010
On Sunday 4th July, visitors will be given an insight into life in a woodworking mill that served the local community for over a century with the chance to see and hear the original 1879 water-powered Victorian woodworking machinery being used. The two special guided tours start at 11am and 2.30pm.

Holt Cottage Sleeps 6 Availability For August 2010
Holt Cottage (Sleeps 6) is available for 7 nights from the 30th July, 13th August, 20th August & 27th August.
Holt Cottage is a three bedroom cottage (sleeps 6) with sitting room, dining area and kitchen upstairs. One twin room with en suite bathroom is upstairs and one downstairs along with a bathroom (with bath and shower) and a double bedroom with a shower room.
his lovely 3 double bedroomed cottage has a unique feature of the galleried kitchen/dining area.

There is plenty to do at Brimham Rocks and things to do include:
- Walks
- Family trails.
- Guided walks.
- Climbing amongst the rock formations.
- Wildlife spotting.

- Photographing the rock formations, the scenic views and wildlife.
Dogs are allowed at Brimham rocks but must be kept under strict control and on a lead from April to June due to ground nesting birds.
