York Art Gallery Easter Activities For Children

York Art Gallery has some great activities for the children this Easter holiday.

There will be a drop-in practical art session for accompanied children. £1 per child to cover the cost of materials.

• Portraits - 6, 7 and 8 April - 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm

Draw self portrait or a member of family taking inspiration from the portraits within York Art Gallery exhibition 100 Years of Gifts.

• Landscape - 13, 14 and 15 April - 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm

Create abstract landscape using paint or collage, using ideas from 100 Years of Gifts.

Why not have a few days away and take a short break here at Valley View Farm cottages and a break away with a visit to York and an art session for the children.
