At Valley View Farm Holiday Cottages we’re open all year
round and this year we’re pleased to be welcoming guests for the Christmas and
New Year break, where they will be enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the
North York moors and spending precious family time together.
It may seem like a distant thought but we’re busy preparing
our calendar for exciting events happening in North Yorkshire in 2016! The end
of January hosts the Big Garden Birdwatch at Sutton Bank National Park Centre,
meet wildlife artist Peter Reynolds and help RSPB’s Chris Pye with the bird
count across the moors. This is a great family weekend with children’s crafts
and nature trails, which will encourage your kid’s to get birdwatching! What’s
more you can continue the nationwide survey and record the birds which you spot
in your own garden too!
With six self-catering holiday cottages located on our working
family farm in the rural village of Old Byland in the North York Moors. With
discounts running across our cottages during the off peak season, you can book a
last minute break for your family. With miles and miles of rolling countryside
and scenic views to take in, there’s plenty of wildlife to explore at Valley
View Farm - including two barn owls that like to pay a visit from time to time.
