If you like a good story then why not come along to the York Castle Museum over half term and enjoy listening to some of your favourite stories. From the 28th May - 5th June, daily from 11am til 4pm join the costumed story-tellers for tales of fun, adventure and life in the past.
You can listen to scchool stories in the Victorian School room, which focus on moral tales and poems about school life.
In the Military Gallery, you can listen to stories of high adventure, such as Robinson Crusoe and Gulliver.
Excerpts from The Wind in the Willows and Oliver Twist will be read in one of the cells in York Castle Prison.
