There will be two "explosive" battle re-enactments each day with a variety of soldiers from the 1940’s.
The Northern World War 2 Association will be bringing over 100 soldiers and civilians to the castle for a spectacular weekend in the 1940’s.
This event commemorates the 70th anniversary of the Second World War.
As well as battle enactments and living history demos, what else can you see?
There will be:
- children’s activities,
- 1940’s music,
- sing alongs,
- demonstration of Dig for Victory,
- Ration Book cooking,
- Make Do & Mend presentations of the Home Front civilians.
