York Castle Museum, February Half Term

This half term why not visit the York Castle Museum and head back in time.

At the museum you can find out:

• what it was like to dine with King James the First.
• how babies were cared for in the past by looking at traditional methods of swaddling and feeding and get up close to fantastic original objects such as the 'murder bottle' and teething ring.
• experience some of the day-to-day hardships of a Napoleonic soldier's life.
  
• more about Victorian life along the world-famous Victorian street, Kirkgate.
