The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is an award winning attraction for North Yorkshire, and I know plenty of our guests come here to visit and have enjoyed a thoroughly enjoyable day on the railways- we have some late deals available in our cosy cottages (Form Cottage or Formicary Cottage) so you will be nice and warm after a ride on the railway perhaps on the Santa Specials?
Santa Specials will run from Pickering and from Grosmont on the following dates in December 2009:
Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th
Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th
and from Saturday 19th to Tuesday 22nd
Pickering departures: 0945 1130 1345 1530
Grosmont departures: 0940 1115 1320 1450
Tickets are £12.50 per person
Price includes travel, plus a visit to see Santa in his Grotto and a present for the children, and refreshments and a mince pie for adults.
Journey time is normally approximately 1 hour.
