Here at Valley View Farm we keep sheep, so John, Stuart & I are always interested in going to sheep fairs if we get the chance.

The Masham Sheep Fair at Masham in the Yorkshire Dales is to be held on the 25th-26th September 2010. The market square will be full of sheep, a sheep farmers idea of heaven!

York Festival Of Food & Drink September 2010

The York Food & Drink Festival is now in it's 14th year and is a popular 10 day event (17th - 26th September.)

The 2010 theme, Meet Yorkshire Food Heroes.

Highlights of the York Food And Drinks Festival include:

Harrogate Autumn Flower Show September 2010

The Harrogate Autumn Flower Show is on from 17-19 September 2010 for all you gardening and flower enthusiasts!

Things to look out for at the show:

• Kitchen Garden Live is returning with seasonal talks and demonstrations.
• Vegetable Championships, including the Heaviest Onion competition and the new Fruit Show.
• The Fodder Cookery Theatre will have local chefs demonstrating with the recent harvest.
