With Tour de Yorkshire 2014 remaining a lasting legacy
throughout the area, we’re so excited for its return! Millions lined the race’s
route cheering support for Bradley Wiggins, Ed Clancy and Sarah Storey (to name
a few) as they wound their way through the glorious Yorkshire
countryside, the atmosphere was electrifying! Some of our team were there watching the action.
Neighbouring Scarborough hosts the start and
finishing lines for the race during the weekend. Valley View Farm is a perfect
place to stay during the event. With six gorgeous cottages to choose from, you’re promised a
memorable holiday away!
Why not bring your bike on your break away, the Tour de France of 2014 has inspired scores of folk to get on
their bikes and take up cycling as a hobby, so you could explore the North
Yorkshire scenery by bike. With a network of cycling routes
across the
Yorkshire Moors and extending out across the Yorkshire coast, you can
explore the scenery and stop off for refreshments at local tearooms and pubs enroute!
You can book your stay at Valley View Farm here, we’re
open every day of the year and available to take last minute bookings too!
