Steam Fair Duncombe Park 6th & 7th July 2013

Just wanted to let you know that there will be a Steam Fair at Duncombe Park on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July 2013.

Attractions at the fair:

45+ full size steamers,
30+ miniatures,
more than 100 Commercials,
200+ Tractors & stationary engines &
150 Vintage Cars & motorcycles.

There will be crafts, trade stands, refreshments, licensed bar with evening entertainment, Can-Can dancers & fair ground.

The garden will be closed to the public for the duration of this event.

Duncombe Park is situated on the edge of Helmsley which makes Valley View Farm the perfect place to stay for your visit. Castle Howard is one of Yorkshire's finest historic houses.  Set within 1000 acres of beautiful country the Howardian Hills are marked as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Castle Howard offers much more than a visitor attraction, it's always worth a visit especially when they are holding one of their many special events.

Castle Howard is a40 minute drive from Old Byland and so if you are joining us for a break away it is a day out not to be missed.
