York Christmas Market will take place from the 26-29th November 2009. St Nicholas Fayre is York's biggest and most popular Christmas market. This is a huge, four day, open air Christmas market with stalls spread across several streets in the city centre of York. The market stalls will be located at Parliament Street, St Sampson's Square, Kings Square, and Coppergate Square.
The market sells a mixture of arts and crafts, gifts and locally produced food and drink.

York also offers a range of Christmas markets from mid-November right through till Christmas week.
