Well done Danny Boyle - 8 Oscars awarded for Slumdog Millionaire - and Best Director - not bad for a Northern Lad who was going to go into the priesthood. Danny was persuaded against his choice of career by a priest, Danny has since said that he did not know if the priest was saving Danny from the priesthood or the priesthood from Danny - I am sure his sermons would have brought the crowds in though.....
