We just wanted to let you know that there will be an Easter Fair & Lamb National event at Castle Howard 29th March - 1st April.
The Easter Fair includes vintage rides, sweet stall, face painters, Molly the Rabbit, the Easter trail around the wonderful new paths in the wood. New for 2013 Castle Howard has introduced a Lamb National! An entertaining and thrilling display of racing sheep, plus sheepdog demonstrations.
The event will run from 10am-4pm each day.
All events are included in the price of a Grounds admission ticket (Castle Howard Annual Pass holders free of charge).
Castle Howard is a 40 minute drive from Old Byland and so it makes a
great day out if you are staying at one of our cottages. There is
something there for all the family from the history of the grand house,
the beauty of the gardens to gift & farm shops and an adventure
