For all you plant lovers and garden enthusiasts I just thought that I would let you know that Scampston Autumn Plant Fair will take place on Sunday 7th October 2012 at The Walled Garden at Scampston.
More than a dozen specialist nurseries and stalls selling garden related items will be attending the Plant Fair. All of the stalls will have excellent plants and products for sale and refreshments will be available all day both on the plant fair field and at The Garden Restaurant.
Scampston Hall is the home to the stunning Walled Garden and Grounds, the beautiful contemporary garden, the gardens only became open to the public for the first time in 2004, people visit from all over the world and it has been received with great acclaim. Open for a short period during the late spring, and sitting in its own, more traditional gardens, the Hall is one of the finest country houses in Yorkshire. Lovingly restored by the Legards, it is a family home and contains many fine works of art, furniture and china.
