I just wanted to let you know about the Boltby Excavation Open Weekend on Sunday 29th and Monday 30th May 2011.
Visit the ongoing excavation at Boltby Scar iron age hillfort and hear from the archaeological team all about the dig.
Walk to the site with a guide or use the bus service (which also includes a 15 minute walk)
To guarantee a tour place booking is required.
At: Sutton Bank National Park Centre.10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm, 2.30pm.
Guided tours depart at 10.45am and 12.45pm. Cost: Free
