York Festival Of Food & Drink 17th September 2010

Here are some of the events taking place at the York Festival of Food & Drink on Friday 17th September 2010:
  • Demonstration with the Cedar Court Grand Hotel at 10am Lasts 30 to 45 minutes
  • Demonstration with the Crown Inn Boroughbridge at 11am Lasts 30 to 45 minutes
  • Love Food Hate Waste Demonstration at Noon Lasts 30 to 45 minutes
  • Phillip Leverington Demonstration at 1pm Lasts 30 to 45 minutes
  • Karen Hardwick's Introduction to Wine from Italy at 1pm
  • Fowler's Boys at 2pm (4 York Chefs kick off the Guildhall programme with a challenge set by Richard Fowler of Burnholm Fisheries.)
  • Demonstration with Akash Tandoori at 2pm Lasts 30 to 45 minutes
  • Demonstration with Karachi Restaurant at 3pm Lasts 30 to 45 minutes
  • Temujin Demonstration - Chicken Stir Fry at 4pm Lasts 30 to 45 minutes
  • Slow food Taste Workshop with Brackenhill Preserves at 4pm Lasts about an hour
  • Speed Nibbling (Food sampling) at 5pm
  • Daily Chocolate Demonstration at 5pm Lasts 30 to 45 minutes
  • Cocktails at 6 with the Cedar Court at 6pm Lasts 30 to 45 minutes
  • Debates from 7pm Lasts just over 2 hours
  • Chocolate Evening at 7pm
  • Historic Dinner: Dining through the Ages at 7.30pm
The York Food & Drink Festival is now in it's 14th year and is a popular 10 day event (17th - 26th September.)
